My Portfolio
Welcome to my portfolio! Please stick around if you like what you see.

Designer Interview
Focused on fashion illustration, this project involved planning and designing a 10 look collection based on the work of an existing designer. For this, I chose Peter Do.
Peter Do’s past work includes collections such as “Foundation” and “Home”, which explore themes of immigration and identity. I wanted to further explore these concepts with
my collection “CONVERGENCE”.
Inspired by the gentle power of the sea, this collection reminds us that each of us are the convergence of all we’ve ever done and everywhere we’ve ever been.

Designing For A Celebration
This is another project from my freshman year, where I had to design an outfit for a persona attending some kind of event. I chose my sister, Alina, who requested a black tie Met Gala dress that was modern, floor-length, modest, and with a cape. I did some background research, brainstormed ideas, and sketched some possibilities, all while running them past my sister. You can see the design we went with here, as well as my prototype and final garments.

Logo Commission
In Fall 2022, I was asked to make a logo for EDU-STEM, a network for undergraduate educators teaching STEM at universities across the U.S. The network strives to increase equity and diversity in STEM fields, which is what inspired this design.
Initially, I was given no description or thoughts on what the design should look like, and as a result, my first design, which focused on learning and education, received a lukewarm reception. My feedback was simply "equity and diversity." However, I was able to start over, and through some more trial and error, ultimately deliver a design that my commissioner loved.

Graphic Designs
This is a collection of designs I created my freshman year for a course called Shapes and Colors in Two and Three Dimensions. These designs utilize achromatic color scales, monochromatic color scales, chroma bridge (aka perceptual opposites) color scales, color mixing principles, and luminosity through color weaving, as well as equal value contrast in colors and various types of gradations. Some principles applied include unity, balance, figure-ground ambiguity, symmetry, dynamic movement, similarity, continuation, and proximity.
