CONCEPT:
Research, planning, ideation, and designs for a 10 look collection based on the preexisting work of NYC designer Peter Do.
Research & Planning
I chose Peter Do as my designer for this project, not only because of his beautiful work, but because of the powerful story he has to tell.
Peter Do draws on his own journey as his source of inspiration, allowing him to create clothing that is impactful and unique. As a designer, this is something I hope to emulate.
Peter Do’s past work includes collections such as “Foundation” and “Home”, which explore themes of immigration and identity.
I wanted to further explore these concepts with my collection “CONVERGENCE”.
Inspired by the flowing power
of the sea, this collection reminds us
of the past and the future that converge to shape who we are
in the present.
