Finding a White Space in the Market
Junior's Fashion 2024

When browsing social media,
I've found two major styles of women's clothing:
1) casual, edgy, and youthful
2) mature, sophisticated, and elegant
While I was drawn to the first style in high school, I find that as I mature, I'm looking for more clothing that can visualize my personal growth.
However, the market is notably lacking in brands that can balance this casual edge with mature femininity, especially with subtlety for those who prefer to quietly stand out.
Young Women's Fashion 2024

Our White Space
As consumers transition from youths into professionals,
they get the best of both fashion worlds, with a subtle and unique balance between casual trendiness and classic maturity.
Trend & Market Research
Major Trends

Back & Better Than Ever
With growing climate consciousness, the top priority for consumers is modern classics--timeless styles with a contemporary edge that will endure the tides of fashion
Post Pandemic
Consumers are looking for a balance between comfort & function; clothing that can be worn at home or in public, day or night, while remaining cozy and on top of fashion.

Knit Trends

Big & Baggy
Most knits are chunky and have a loose, oversized fit
Textured Touch
Trends focus on novel textures and soft, coziness
Puffy & Padded
Emphasis on voluminous, padded fabrics like quilting
Style Trends
Ancient Space
Futurism inspired by the ancient
and the cosmic
=> mineral ore textures
=> colors like silver, gray, blue

Cocooning Softness
Cozy comfort and layering is used to combat anxiety and give a sense of protection
=> high pile
=> extra thick yarns

Design Statement
“Quiet Cosmos” is designed for those who long to silently stand out.
Built on classic knitwear fashions and detailed with contemporary trends, it draws on inspiration from the world beyond our own in both textures and color. Including shades like cosmic blue, sand, and burnt sienna,
it incorporates subtle color variations as well as metallic shine.
Following the ongoing trends for oversized, loose fitting clothing,
this collection adds interest to the simple silhouette through geologically inspired textures and form. By finely balancing simplicity with a
unique edge, “Quiet Cosmos” allows the subtle nuances of human maturity and personality to be expressed.
